Mayday! Noobie Down!
By Serpentor on Friday, April 9 2010, 08:05

After our fun-filled frolic in Andruk the previous night, the NB alliance was ready for love. There were some skirmishes on the north sides of the city, around where we'd laid a seige stone. They did manage to do some damage to a stone. But the enemies never really seemed organized and the fights were mostly during small pushes.
On the south-west side, the enemy attempted a medium sized push out, toward another stone. They made a tactical mistake when they jumped the city walls and jumped down the cliff. That left them between our forces and a cliff - with no cover or retreat. That was probably the biggest fight all night. Wiping that push mopped up any remaining resistance. We pushed into the city easily afterwards and had the stone down quickly.
Blood knows how they like it, and we do it right!

Enemies take the "Long March" of shame
By Serpentor on Friday, April 9 2010, 08:04

Blood and allies went into the 2nd night of the siege on Head Hunters at Long March knowing we were up against the wall. Literally. We needed to get over 40 walls down in one night for victory.
Never a clan to take the easy route, we stopped off at Andruk first. "Hello friends! Who's for tea? We'll make ourselves at home!" We broke out a bunch of warhulks and thousands of battlespikes to get the walls, binds and towers. After we leveled the place, we laid a siege there. More fun for the next night! Then we packed up and headed to LM.
From Sarphus' battle log:
Our allies kept the defenders holed up around the bank room. Blood launched into the lower part of the city and placed cannons at the base of the hill going into the top part of the city.
I think we exhausted 4 cannons blowing up the initial walls to clear for a solid push. Then we pushed into the city and had a prolonged fight around the bank. The fighting cooled down considerably once we took out their keep. We then proceeded on the walls (needed 40+ walls at that point) with 5 warhulks and 2 ships. We knocked down the last wall and got to the bindstone roughly 20 seconds before the siege went live. We never knocked down all their binds or guard towers, which proved to be a very good thing for the buyer of LM.

The Mercs / Afghans defeated again at Calfardar
By Blood Guild on Tuesday, September 1 2009, 16:14
Seems The Mercs / Afghans and their allies can’t keep a city for more than the invulnerability phase.
Calfardar is back under Cairn as The Mercs were defeated in the latest siege.
It is now over a month Mercs have abandon their fights on ice island and co, recruited a bunch of people, allied BlackWater alliance, GraveYard alliance and even now NWO alliance to try and take us down, but they are back to statusquo. Cairn is not going to disband and the advantage Afghans gained from exploiting and duping will fade away in a few weeks after the patch.
Sum up of recent events:
- Afghans allying half the server and still losing Calfendar & being sore losers…
- Truth revealed about Zen TM/Afghans + exCotC + Grave yard + Invictus MultiAlliance

Cairnbears take Hammerdale from Exile
By Serpentor on Sunday, July 19 2009, 22:59
Hammerdale became official Cairn property on 7/19. We row, row, rowed our boats all the way there. Planted our cannons on their hill and rained death on the hapless victims below. Some members of Dogma tried take advantage of the situation and counter attack. Tried... but they quickly got a free trip back to their bindstones.

Sweet water taken over
By Blood Guild on Sunday, June 14 2009, 03:18
Sweetwater was the main reason we entered war on CotC.
The fact they couldn’t stick to their word and transfer it to us against Tiq not only cost them a town but cost them their alliance which was blown into pieces for the most part.

Day 5: Cairn vs CotC (CotC Zerg 3187 members vs Cairn 747 members)
By Blood Guild on Friday, June 5 2009, 10:40
This 5th day of the Cairn vs CotC alliance was rather calm…
The 10 CotC cities and hamlets we used to demolish every day aren’t
being rebuilt anymore (or only partially), so the demolition work is
lighter.
Hamerdale did get a nice remodeling work by Cairnbears demolition squad though.
It only took 3 days for CotC to totally give up on defending most these places.
All their members are now tied to the other cities which does make the
defense stronger. Andruk was a hard place to raid considering the
numbers of defenders but our guys didn’t do so bad and they are raid
after raid learning their way in that very hard to raid city.

Day 4: Cairn vs CotC (CotC asking for peace)
By Blood Guild on Thursday, June 4 2009, 10:41
Well… fights have been going on around the clock.
Few attemps were made by CotC to attack our cities 2h before maintenance… but they were pushed back within 5 mins…
On the other side Cairnbears have been ravaging 10 CotC cities /
hamlets around the clock both at EU primetime and USA primetime… It
has become like a marathon…

Day 3: Cairn vs CotC (CotC starting to dismantle?)
By Blood Guild on Wednesday, June 3 2009, 10:42
It seems our multiple destructive raids on CofC are starting to produce their effects.
After Zarithas (CotC number 2 in command) left them (if its not another
spying venture)… several other cracks were seen in the zerg…
7 CofC cities and hamlets were partially or fully destroyed several times on this 3rd day.

Day 2: Cairn vs CotC
By Blood Guild on Tuesday, June 2 2009, 10:43
After yesterday’s lost siege and multiple server crash… we were told
on the boards by CofC that they would remove us from the map…
One could think that with their numbers, it was likely to happen… yet here is the outcome of this 2nd day:

Darkfall Day 1: A Success
By SethDrone -=KoC=- on Thursday, February 26 2009, 20:58
Well, our starting plan worked almost flawlessly with the only obstruction being the server hiccups throughout the night(day,evening,morning...)
We had the money for the Guild completed sometime in the early AM but the patch server was being difficult and anybody not ingame couldn't log in for awhile. By the time they rebooted the servers and our group got back there were two other guilds up. Sharks had theirs up first, and LoD was on the list just before we had Blood up.
After the Guild was up and running we went back to work for the clan shard funds. A nice little surprise from beta to release is the clan shard price rising from 2.5k to 10k gold. Took a bit longer than we had hoped for but we were still the third guild in Darkfall to claim a city.
Congrats to all our guys who put in the hard work and dedication throughout the night. All in all, this was quite a good start for Blood.
- Third guild created in Darkfall.
- Third city claimed in Darkfall.
This just goes to show that organized squads can still out-do the Goon Squad zergs of the world.
